Reflection 13 (Week 14)

Hello everyone!

Wow! It's already the final week of the semester. Time flies so fast, doesn't it? So, for the final week of the tutorial, we did our presentations! Each group presented their report and they were informative. I was a little bit nervous before the presentation because everyone did well on their presentations. Besides that, the final class was special because it was help at night so the atmosphere is new to me and is quite intriguing.

On the other hand, what I love them most about this final class is when each group presented their videos. They were cool, informative, cute and awesome! I love all of them, especially the one by my group. Besides that, it is visible that each group has made a lot of efforts in creating and editing their videos .

Finally, I am going to miss this course a lot. Memories were made and information were attained. Thanks everyone and thank you Dr. Fariza! Wish to learn from you again in the future!

Hugs and kisses, xoxo.

Hello guys!

This week is more serious as compared to previous classes because we were required to assort data using Microsoft Excel. I'm not that familiar with Microsoft Excel itself but today, I have learnt something valuable. I'll be able to use this application to help my mother in the future! Even though this week's class is a little bit serious, I had fun doing it because my friends and I thought of funny names to use and we ended up using our relatives and friends' name.

Other than that, Dr. Fariza looked at our Storyboard for our upcoming video. Our storyboard is completed and she finds it alright. We haven't choose a theme for the video yet. Dr. Fariza mentioned that she'll be away for a week starting today. Be safe and come back safely!

Thanks and have a good day ahead!

Hello guys!

This week, Dr. Fariza went to each group and checked on or progress on the report of our survey. She explained to us some of the things that we do not understand and my oh my, I'm glad that she did that! During the class, I posted my point of view on the questions posed in the Weebly forum. Dr. Fariza mentioned that we will focus on our report during the first hour of the class. I did the introduction of the report and is still doing as much as I can. Finding references can be tough but it is worth it when I have finally found the ones that I have been looking for!

Dr. Fariza left early because her lecturer from Japan came. Besides, I focused too much on looking for journals that my group need to complete the report.

That's all and have a good day!

Hello everyone! How are you?

So for this week, our lecturer told us to look and share the elements of multimedia on our Weebly forum. There are 5 elements of multimedia which are: text, audio and sound, static graphic images, animation and full motion video. It was not hard to find related articles and journals on the elements multimedia. It was informative because everyone else did the same thing and shared with one another.

One more thing, each students get into their groups and discussed about their own storyboard for their upcoming video! Other than that, my group discussed about how the storyboard should start and end, what kind of transitions and animations that we should use and so on. It was raining so it was a little bit chilly. Everyone contributed.

Finally, as usual, I enjoyed the class and looking forward to next week!

Howdy!

First of all, congrats to Dr. Fariza on her success! You deserved it and I'm so happy for you. Hope you will continue on achieving success in the future.

Alright so let's review this week's class. We started the class with answering our friends' surveys. Next, Dr. Fariza briefed us about how to assort the data that we have received from the respondents. She also briefed us on how to calculate the percentage and mean for our data. Other than that, she explained to us in detail on how to actually write the report and the do's and don'ts. It is actually not easy to write a good academic report! I'm glad she told us on how to do it and explained why we should not do it however we want.

Besides that, the atmosphere was a little bit intense as everyone focused in class. All in all, I'm sure next week will be lively and cheerful like it always has!

Thanks and have a wonderful day ahead!

Hello everyone! Hope your weekend was not stressful (like mine).

We had a technical problem during the beginning of the class, we didn't have access to the internet but no worries! It was only for a short while and we were back online for the rest of the class. Dr. Fariza briefed about Microsoft Publisher this time around and it's my very first time using it. Apparently there is a program that enables us to create brochures, business cards, calendars, greeting cards and etc. Silly me, I just found out about that now. Well, better late than never, right? One interesting moment during the class is that our lecturer mentioned about group work and teamwork. I just find this part interesting because things like a group mate does not do the work given happens a lot and bad teamwork is a norm when working in a group. The comment given should sting to those who refuse to contribute in the group work.

Besides that, we were told to make a brochure based on our presentation topic. Our group was "Web 2.0 in Education." Sharifah Atirah couldn't make it today because she had some personal matters to attend to. So that leaves the rest of us to do the work. However, one of us refused to contribute and it is such a waste. Oh! And one more thing, the air cond functioned well this time around.

Love this class and our lecturer. Endless thanks to Dr. Fariza for guiding us from the start. That's all and have a wonderful day ahead! :)

Greetings everyone!

Alright so this time around, each group presented their findings. I was attracted to the Q&A session but sadly, I didn't pose any questions because most of the presenters explained their topics in detail so my curiosity was pleased. Other than that, it was hot because the air-cond wasn't functioning but nah, it's okay. Truth to be told, I was nervous during my presentation and I think I stuttered a little! It was not one of my best presentations but thankfully Dr. Fariza said "Okay, good." That was a great boost for me and I'll try harder and better in the future.

Besides that, some slides are hard to read. Some fonts are too small to read and the background colour is not suitable with the font colour. However, the slides were informative, it's just hard to read, that's all. The comments made by Dr. Fariza are also helpful. Overall, presentation week was informative and okay. That's all from me.

Thanks and have a good day ahead!!

Greetings!

So Dr. Fariza could not attend today's class she has to go to Japan. Before she went there, she left us with a couple of videos on how we should develop a survey by using Google Form which she will observe our progress throughout the week. I have watched the videos and they're very helpful in developing the survey.

Guess that's all. Bye bye!

Greetings everyone!

I hope your Eid Adha was amazing and welcome back to school! I'm feeling a little bit tired but hey, this class is fun.

So for this week, Dr. Fariza suggests that we should use the PTSL website to find journal articles related to our assignment and to stop referring to blogs, Wikipedia and other websites as their source are sometimes invalid. The PTSL website is easier to use although it is a little bit confusing at first. Besides that, our lecturer stated the differences between journals and proceeding. Journal article comprises of a few articles and can be printed in volumes. Proceeding articles is basically a hard copy or a soft copy which is presented during seminars and conferences and normally, there are no strict reviewing process as compared to journal articles.

In addition, a survey needs to be systematic in order to avoid error. Dr. Fariza also mentioned that a survey needs to have objectives and good aims. For example, we conduct a survey to obtain new information and acquaintances and to share and verify knowledge. She also said that doing a literature review is compulsory to have a good survey. Other than that, she explained briefly about our next assignment where each group has to conduct an online survey based on our assignment 3 topic.

I enjoy this class and the lecturer is friendly. Thanks and have a good day
